Rachel has been traveling throughout the world, photographing people in their act of choosing each other for the past decade. It’s her utmost privilege to be an intimate wedding and lifestyle photographer; offering a hybrid of digital and film photo imagery. In the beautiful whirlwind of the past few years she fell in love with a pilot, and last year they bought their first home together in Carlsbad, CA.
Rachel feels fortunate to have found her calling at 18 during her senior year of high school and to be living out her dream every day surrounded by the most resplendent human beings and their stories.
She approaches this vocation with very specific intention: create freeze frames of life as you know it and offer you a tiny bit of what it feels like to be known and loved in tangible form—immortalized in pictures to hang onto the most powerful feelings. Even years from now, once the moment has passed and the poignant edges of the memory are worn smooth.
